Apple Pie Oatmeal

Description

This breakfast is so simple but will blow your taste buds away.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 servings old-fashioned oats, cooked
  • 2 apples, cored and chopped
  • 4 Tbsp water
  • 1 Tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup dry-roasted, unsalted walnuts
  • dash of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Place apples and water in a pan on med-high heat. Cook until apples are slightly tender.
  2. Add syrup and nuts until heated then sprinkle with cinnamon.
  3. Divide over cooked oats.

Notes

Cut and cook up the apple pie mixture while your oatmeal is cooking.
