Dark Chocolate Bark

Description

Dark chocolate mixed with the sweetness of dried fruit and the saltiness of peanuts – it’s the perfect combination.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz of unsweetened dark chocolate (at least 70% cocao)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened organic raisins
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened organic medjool dates, chopped
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened organic dried mango, chopped
  • 1/4 cup raw and unsalted peanuts
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Place chocolate in a double broiler and heat on low until melted, about 10 minutes.
  2. Line an 8×8 cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Once chocolate is melted, add cinnamon, ginger, sea salt and half of the dried fruit and peanuts. Pour onto parchment and spread evenly (not too thin).
  4. Sprinkle remaining dried fruit and peanuts on top.
  5. Place in the freezer for 1-2 hour, or until solid.
