Cinnamon Sugar French Toast

Description

The perfect weekend breakfast …


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of Ezekial bread
  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 15–20 drops liquid stevia
  • non-fat Greek yogurt, optional
  • sliced fruit, optional
  • pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. In a large, shallow bowl, whisk eggs and mix in cinnamon and stevia.
  2. Preheat a large pan on low-med heat and spray with cold pressed, extra-virgin coconut oil.
  3. Dip bread in egg mixture, coating both sides, and place in pan. Once egg is cooked on first side (2-3 minutes), flip and cook the other side. Continue until egg mixture is all used up!
  4. Top with yogurt, sliced fruit, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
