Homemade Hummus

Description
Smooth, creamy, and oh-so-easy – you’ll never buy store-bought hummus again! It pairs perfectly with vegetables, pita slices, or tortilla chips. And it also works great in a sandwich or on a salad!
Ingredients

- 1/4 cup tahini
- Juice from 1 lemon
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 2–4 garlic cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 14 oz can organic chickpeas, drained and rinsed
Instructions
- In a food processor, pulse the tahini, lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of oil, water, garlic, and sea salt until smooth.
- Add in the chickpeas and mix on high for 3-5 minutes, or until it becomes a smooth consistency.
- Mix in more water, as needed, to thin it out if you prefer.
- Drizzle with the remaining olive oil and serve.
Notes
Variation Tip
Flavour with your favourite herbs and spices. Try dill, cumin, chili, and even pumpkin spice!
