Imagine what it would feel like if you could finally get an answer to why you’ve been feeling so crumby these days.
If all the time’s the doctor brushed you off, said it was all in your head, or made you feel unheard could finally be proven wrong. It would be so validating.
Did you know that it’s possible your symptoms are because of inflammation in the gut? Your Doctor probably hasn’t mentioned it, so let’s take a closer look.
Do you suffer from any of these:
- Blood sugar imbalances
- Food sensitivities
- Acne or skin irritations
- Mood swings or PMS
- Anxiety or depression
- Fatigue or brain fog
- Constipation or diarrhea
- Bloating or gas
- Poor sleep or insomnia
- Gut bacteria imbalances
If you checked off more than one, then you may have some form of inflammation in your body. If you’ve had these symptoms for more than a month, chances are it’s chronic inflammation.
Inflammation is your immune system’s response to an irritant. If something is irritating the gut, you’ll get a symptom.
The problem comes if you don’t address it. The longer you leave it, the higher the chance it becomes chronic and the more damage it can do to your gut.
That’s why I wrote today’s article. To help you understand how damaging it can be and why you need to take action to end it right now.
Why You Need to Eliminate Inflammation
Immune Health
Did you know that more than 70% of your immune system is located in your gut? This is how your symptoms may relate to inflammation.
So if you want a strong immune system this fall, then you need to stop making it work so dang hard!
Improving digestion and eating more anti-inflammatory foods helps support a healthy immunity.
Mental Health
Your gut and brain are connected via the vagus nerve. And they communicate via your bacteria. This means that both your gut and brain can regulate mood.
If either your gut or brain are inflammed, that can change the messages they send and receive. Reducing inflammation is important for proper communication.
Managing stress, getting enough sleep, and physical exercise can help. But eating more anti-inflammatory foods is also key!
Digestive Health
If 70% of your immune system is in your gut and it’s responsible for inflammation – I’m going to bet you saw this topic coming. A healthy digestion is key. Plus, a lot of symptoms are because of an inflammed gut.
Reducing inflammation helps improve your digestion which will improve your symptoms. Not only that, a healthy digestion also prevents inflammation.
If you want to get rid of your symptoms then improve your digestion. There are two components to that – reducing inflammation and healing the gut.
