Description
Full of nutty flavour with a hint of maple – it’s the perfect not-too-sweet treat to satisfy any craving.
Ingredients

- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/2 cup arrowroot powder
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 and add a silicone mat or parchment paper to your cookie sheet.
- In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients.
- In a medium pot, combine syrup, oil, almond butter, and vanilla. Place on low heat and cook until oil is melted. Do not overheat!
- Let cool 2 minutes, add eggs and mix well.
- Add wet to dry and fold until combined.
- Spoon onto your cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes.

Make it Vegan
Use flax eggs.
