Easy-Peasy Raspberry Chia Jam
- Prep Time: 2 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 12 minutes
- Yield: 2 cups 1x
Description
Jam can be good for you, but store-bought jams are chalk full of preservatives and sugar. This homemade jam is a great source of antioxidants, healthy fats, and minerals. It also makes the “J” in PB & J the best part, and comes together in less than 15 minutes!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 2 tablespoons whole chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
Instructions
- In a small pot, combine the raspberries, chia seeds, and maple syrup. Turn to medium and continue stirring until it begins to bubble.
- Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until it begins to thicken.
- Remove from heat and pour into a mason jar. Let cool.
- Refrigerate for up to 7 days (or freeze!).

VARIATION TIP
This recipe can be made with any fruit you like. When I use strawberries, I like to pulse the ingredients in the blender first to get a smooth consistency.
