Description
Finally a veggie burger that tastes good and stays together – perfect to grill up on the BBQ!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cans low-sodium black beans
- 1 cup frozen corn
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup parsley, or your favourite fresh herb
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp burger seasoning (coming next week!)
Instructions
- In a food processor, add 1 can black beans, 1/2 cup corn, 1 cup oats, and the parsley.
- Process on low for 30-60 seconds.
- Transfer to a medium bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Combine well.
- Form into 12 patties.
- Grill on the BBQ for 7-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Notes
Seasoning swap
- Can’t wait until next week to try the recipe? Add in 1 tsp each of onion powder and garlic powder, as well as a dash of sea salt and pepper. The burger seasoning recipe comes out next week!
Addition
- I love adding in 1/4 cup of slivered almonds to add a little crunch to my burger!
Make it Vegan
Replace eggs with flax eggs one for one.
