Triple Chocolate Dessert Bites

Description
Rich, dark chocolatey bites that remind you of a brownie in just one bite. These treats make the perfect Valentine’s dessert or even an after school snack to fuel the kiddos because they’re so high in protein. They come together in one-bowl in just 5 minutes. They’re a must-try!
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
- 1 tablespoon tapioca flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch sea salt
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup raw maple syrup
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, divided
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, cacao powder, tapioca flour, baking powder, and sea salt. Mix to well.
- Add in the oil, syrup, and egg. Mix to combine. Fold in 1/4 cup of the chocolate chips.
- Heat up your cake pop or doughnut hole maker and add a little coconut oil.
- Once hot, cook for 5 minutes and remove. Let cool 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt the remaining 1/4 cup of chocolate chips in a small double broiler.
- Dip half of the ball into the melted chocolate and set on a cooling rack. Let harden for 5-10 minutes.
Notes
Variation Tip:
Drizzle with melted dark chocolate and a sprinkle of coarse sea salt. Or add small pieces of strawberry or raspberry to top.
Oven Tip:
If you don’t have a cake pop or doughnut hole maker. Bake at 350F for 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through.

Use a flax egg and vegan chocolate chips.
