Description

Apple sauce is one of the easiest things to make. It’s quick and super nutritious if you don’t peel the apples. Plus it’s versatile and can be used as a snack, in baking, or medicinally to heal digestion or strengthen the immune system.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 cups apples (510 apples, depending on the size)
  • 2 cups water
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Wash, core and quarter the apples.
  2. In your instant pot add the apples, water, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Stir.
  3. Secure the lid and close the vent. Turn to manual high and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. When done, use the quick release.
  5. Use an immersion blender and blend until smooth.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
